Grégoire Vaucher – Wealth Management 2.0

September 3 2019

When first meeting Grégoire Vaucher, it’s difficult to imagine he’s working in finance. The suit and tie are not really his thing. He prefers by far his good old jeans and sneakers. As for business, it’s the same thing: Managing his customers’ portfolios in the clichéd way of the old Swiss banker, that’s a no-go! Gregory is a visionary: what he wants to propose is an asset and wealth management 2.0.

After working for HSBC in Geneva and New York, he joined Semper in 2008. An independent management company that merged with Bruellan to form a single entity. Two companies that share the same vision and combine complementary strengths and talents. Bruellan offers its asset and wealth management services, but not only, thanks to the acquisition of Sirkay Real Estate. An acquisition that allows Bruellan to complete its offer with a range of real estate services.

Present in Geneva, Crans-Montana and Verbier, it has officially become since last June, date of the approval of the merger by FINMA, the only asset management company in French-speaking Switzerland to offer live real estate and wealth management services. That allows to meet all the customers’ needs, mainly entrepreneurs, that Bruellan and its 45 employees, whose average age is always younger, support from the beginning of their activity and throughout their evolution. “An exciting mission when we know that the market has become very challenging in the face of new regulations, particularly with regards to the LsFIN and LeFIN laws which establish new criteria and values related to our business,” says Grégoire while advocating his methods.

“We need to be really close to our customers, be creative, resourceful and have the ability to adapt to the current environment. We need to bring solutions to our customers and make their lives easier. Above all, we must put the human in the center of the relationship, for our customers of course, but also for our teams who are our main asset. This is the only way to best defend and protect our clientele in a transparent manner and avoiding any conflict of interest. In fact, Bruellan has no customers, but partners “.
As we all understand, Grégoire Vaucher is the man who, with his team, will dust off the role of a wealth manager.
